Oyo government suspends monthly sanitation exercise indefinitely

 

The monthly sanitation exercise observed in Oyo state has been suspended by the state government indefinitely.

Oyo State Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Idowu Oyeleke made the announcement on Wednesday March 10, during the introduction of the daily cleaning exercise by his ministry in Ibadan.

Twenty-four hours after the Senate mandated its Committee on Financial Crimes and Anti-Corruption to sponsor a bill seeking autonomy for the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit, the bill has emerged.

Court refuses to stop INEC from conducting recall process for Dino Melaye

Ebonyi state gov suspends commissioner

Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi, has suspended with immediate effect the Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy Matters and Rural Development in the state, Samuel Okoronkwo. Umahi announced Okoronkwo's suspension today while declaring open the ITF programme in Abakaliki. He however did not state the reason for the suspension.  He said that his administration would not tolerate any action that would take the state back to the dark ages
