Motorcycle thief in a ghastly accident while running with stolen motorcycle


A thief was involved in an accident while trying to escape with the motorcycle he stole along Abu King Shuluwa road, Makurdi Benue state yesterday October 1st. According to Benue.com, the thief who disguised as a passenger, had flagged down a motorcycle rider and asked to be taken to Tse-Ayihe, a suburb on the outskirts of Makurdi. When they arrived at his destination, the thief forcefully snatched the motorcycle from the rider.

Woman kills her children with poison following a disagreement with husband

Winnie Daraja is locked up at the Webuye Police Station in Kenya, after she killed her children following an argument with her husband. On Tuesday, September 29, the 23-year-old mother of two from Shibanga, Kakamega North, laced queen cakes with rat poison and fed five year old Peris and three-year-old, Tairus, before taking some herself.

Tambuwal visits families of Hajj stampede victims in Sokoto


Sokoto state governor, Aminu Tambuwal yesterday paid a condolence visit to some families of the victims of the Hajj stampede that killed over 700 pilgrims. Among the families visited in the state was that of the Chief Imam of Sokoto state, Liman Dan-Ata, who died in the stampede.
