Kcee wants to stay relevant with this lawsuit because his career is dead- Harrysong's manager, Desmond Ike says

In an exclusive interview with LIB, singer Harrysong's manager, Desmond Ike, says Kcee wants to stay relevant by using the lawsuit he filed against Harrysong just because his career is dead. According to Desmond, Kcee is yet to come to terms with the fact that Harrysong has dumped him in the thrash. He asked Kcee to go and make a hit instead of running around looking for relevance where there is no relevance. 

Ogun lawmaker and PDP governorship aspirant, Oladipupo Adebutu escapes assassination attempt, supporter shot dead

A member of the House of Representatives, Honourable Oladipupo Adebutu, on Wednesday, narrowly escaped death, after unidentified armed men opened fire on his convoy at Oke Ide, Otta, Ogun State.
One of his supporters identified as Mojeed, was shot dead by the assailants suspected to be loyalists of political opponents.

Ghanaian stage actor drowns one week after his mother's burial

Ghanaian stage actor, Obed Nii Armah, popularly known as Ronny Nii has passed on one week after the burial of his late mother.
According to Ghanaweb, the hilarious actor drowned at the Laboma Beach near La Pleasure beach on the Republic holiday, July 3, 2017.
Ronny known for his roles as ‘Woyome’ in Scribe Productions “This Family Is Not For Sale Season 1 and 2”, and “I Want To Sue God”, was swimming with friends when he encountered difficulties and drowned. 

Fraudster who poses as a barrister to dupe his victims bag Two years in jail

Leonard Ogilvy, a 51 year old fraudster was found guilty on July 3, 2017 at Southwark Crown Court on three counts of willfully pretending to be a barrister and three counts of fraud by false representation.


He was jailed for two years following his conviction that Three victims lost a total of £21,000 when they paid Ogilvy fees for legal advice, believing he was a barrister. Two of the victims had sought legal advice on employment law while the third victim needed help with a divorce settlement. 

Female student of Nigerian university develops alternative treatment for breast cancer

Sandra Musujusu, a female student of the African University of Science and Technology, Abuja, is reportedly developing an alternative treatment for breast cancer. It is believed this treatment might lead to a lasting solution in treating breast cancer.
This development was made known on Tuesday in Abuja when the World Bank Education Director, Dr Jaime Saavedra Chanduvi with his team visited the University as part of his assessment tour of the 10 African Centres of Excellence (ACE) centres, TribuneOnline reports.

Police parade retired DSP who raped a 9-year-old girl in Cross River State

The retired Deputy Superintendent of Police, Christopher Archibong, who was arrested for
defiling a nine-year-old girl was paraded alongside 62 others at the Cross River State Police Headquarters on Thursday, July 6. 
Briefing newsmen, the State Commissioner of Police, Mr Hafiz Inuwa said that Archibong,55, committed the crime on May 31, 2017 in Calabar.
