Breaking: Court Of Appeal Sacks Ned Nwoko as PDP senator-elect, re-instates Peter Nwaoboshi

The Court of Appeal, Abuja Division, has nullified the emergence of Ned Nwoko as the senator representing Delta North Senatorial District.
The court in a decision on Thursday said the case instituted at the Abuja Division of the Federal High Court which resulted in the recognition of Mr Nwoko as the winner of the election by the Independent National Electoral Commission was wrongly filed.

Seven dead, 19 missing as tourist boat crashes and sinks in Budapest

Seven people have been confirmed dead and 19 are still missing after a sightseeing boat carrying 33 passengers and two crew crashed and sank in the Danube River in Budapest.
The boat, carrying tourists from Korea with two crews from Hungary, crashed and sank on Wednesday night after hitting another vessel.

The tireless general, Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin has done it again. This time he transformed the lives of two former prostitutes spiritually and financially.
The General Overseer and founder, Mercy Television, Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry (C.M.D.M), Warri, Delta state along with partners of the ministry gave N4,300,000  million naira (N2,150,000 each) to Miss Edith Onoifo and Miss Joy Afowotake who were into prostitution to set up any business of their choice.

EFCC Arrests 15 Suspected Internet Fraudsters in Port Harcourt
Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Port Harcourt's Zonal Office, have arrested fifteen suspected internet fraudsters in a late- evening raid on Blue Chip Hotels, Rumuigbo, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

A statement from the agency says the suspects, who are between the ages of 18 and 30, were nabbed while relaxing in their hotel hide out. Their arrest followed surveillance and intelligence reports on their activities and a response to the resolve of the Acting Executive Chairman of the EFCC, Mr. Ibrahim Magu to rid the nation of internet fraudsters.

Among the suspects are five young ladies and ten young men. They are: Tamunotonye Tolofari; Isaac Michael; Kingdom Ekekwu; Daniel Uwalaka; Godswill Agwu; Innocent Daniel; Prince Amaya; Tiemo Ipite; Nduah Gentle; Stella Gbarakoro; Christiana Cletus; Anita Jane; Best Noble, Nduah Precious and Emeka Chibuike Emeka.

Items recovered from them are laptops and phones. The suspects have made useful statements to the Commission and would soon be charged to court.
