President Jonathan wins in all 16 LGAs of Ekiti state
The Chief Returning Officer for the Presidential election for Ekiti State and VC of Federal University of Technology, (FUTA), Akure, Prof. Biyi Daramola said during a briefing with journalists at INEC office in Ekiti state that president Jonathan scored a total of 176,474 votes while APC presidential candidate Gen. Buhari got 120,332 votes. He PDP also won all the three senatorial seats and 6 House of Reps seats in the state

Announcing the result, the Returning Officer, Dr. Abdullahi Mohammed Evuti of the Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Abuja told journalists that the council has 10 wards and the total number of registered voters is 42, 401, while accredited voters is 20, 017.

Gov Akpabio polled a total of 422,009 to defeat APC's Inibehe Okorie who had 15, 152 votes. Gov Orji pulled a total of 46,070 votes to win Ahamdi Nweke of APGA who pulled 10,204 votes. While Governor Akpabio would represent Akwa Ibom north east senatorial district in the next Senate Assembly, Governor Orji would be representing Abia central Senatorial zone

Malaysia to hang 29-year-old Nigerian student for drug trafficking
A 29-year-old Nigerian student at a private college in Malaysia, Luke Nnaemeka Ugwu, has been sentenced to death by hanging by a Malaysian High Court for drug trafficking.
The Malaysian National News Agency reports that, Ugwu, was caught at the Kuala Lumpur International Airportarrival hall in Sepang at 9.45p.m. on May 15, 2012.
He was found guilty of trafficking 725.4gm of methamphetamine at Court Shah Alam on Friday
Two other Nigerian students Okechukwu and Obdiegwu Chinwuba Sigismund, 29, escaped the death penalty after one of them, Onyeme Chibunna Okechukwu, 31, pleaded guilty to an alternative charge of drug possession.He was sentenced to 12 years imprisonment and 12 strokes of the cane.On the other hand, Obdiegwu was acquitted.

Breaking news! Germanwing co-pilot deliberately crashed the plane
According to breaking news report, the co-pilot of the doomed Germanwing flight deliberately crashed the plane on March 24th, this is according the chief investigator who just held a press conference explaining what happened. The prosecutor said the Chief pilot asked the co-pilot to take over the controls of the plane so he could go ease himself. While alone, the co-pilot locked the door and deliberately manipulated the flight monitoring controls to accelerate the descent of the flight. He refused to open the door of the cockpit to the pilot when he returned and began knocking frantically on the cockpit door. The co-pilot used a button to cause the plane to lose altitude and crash. He never spoke a word during the last 10mins before the plane crashed and didn't respond to air traffic control.
The prosecutor said there was no indication that the co-pilot was unwell. He has been identified as 28 year old Andreas Lubitz from Germany. He is not known to have any links to terrorism or extremists.
The prosecutor said screams from passengers could be heard on the recording in the final seconds. He said they all knew what was about to happen in the last moments and that all 150 souls died instantly

Nigerian, Amina Lawal, 19, was last seen on Friday, March 20, 2015, in the Kingston Road and Beechgrove Drive area.
