The FIFA Appeal Committee today rejected the appeals of Sepp Blatter and Michel Platini to have their 8 year ban from football by the FIFA independent committee overturned. Instead they reduced their football ban from 8 years to 6 years and ordered both of them to pay CHF 50,000 and CHF 80,000 respectively within 30 days.

The duo were returning from Owerri to Port Harcourt after attending a wedding.
A patriotic citizen who from a hiding place witnessed the incident informed the police that kidnappers whisked away the victims abandoning their vehicle, Lexus jeep RX 300 by the road side.

18 year old Shelby Isaacs (pictured left) has been arrested for allegedly killing her hair stylist Eddie Tate Jr., 38, and his girlfriend, Edwina Thomas, 33 (right). Edwina was heavily pregnant when she was killed. The police is charging Shelby with three counts of first-degree murder.
According to authorities, the couple was sitting in the car when Shelby approached them and after arguing over a weave, she opened fire, killing Eddie on the spot. Edwina was rushed to the hospital but she and her baby died...
