On Thursday,
LIB visited the crime scene where a young man was beaten and burnt to
death by an angry mob on Saturday, November 12, for allegedly
stealing phones from a woman at Alafia bustop, Orile and shockingly
found out that his corpse was left at the roadside from Saturday when he was lynched, till Thursday morning when an ambulance came to pick up his already stinking corpse.
From
what LIB gathered it's normal practice to lynch criminals in the area
when they are caught and sometimes it takes as much as two weeks before
the corpse of the person is removed from the crime scene as the police
in the area don't really care and people have resorted to jungle justice
as their own means of survival
