The Lagos state Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate Jimi Agbaje has visited the scene of the robbery that occurred on Thursday March 12 at the FCMB branch on Admiralty Way, Lekki Phase-1, and condemned the act.
He said, “My heart and prayers go out to the families of the people who lost their lives. May God console you and give you strength to bear the loss”.
The PDP guber aspirant visited the FCMB branch last night which happens to be a stone’s throw from his campaign office in Lekki. He also said that the reality is that anyone could have been caught in the crossfire during the incident.
“It is important, however, that we apprehend these criminals and bring them to justice. And I hope and pray that our Police Force together with other security agencies do just that,” he said.

Meanwhile the Lagos state governor, Babatunde Fashola, has blamed the deaths during the incident on President Goodluck Jonathan’s planned visit to Lagos which led to a low number of available policemen on hand to take on the armed robbers.See more pictures below:
