Oprah launches online store full of luxury hand-picked favorites

The Oprah empire is really expanding. 61-year-old Oprah Winfrey's network has just unveiled The O Store, an online retailer with a focus on exclusive Oprah merchandise, but also including a variety of items off the TV legend's O List from her magazine.

Just as in her annual Favorite Things list, the O List items are not for the bargain shoppers. From $125 cakes to $200 earrings, the products run from gadgets to sweet treats, but only for those who are heavy in pocket.

The main part of the new site features products from the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) shows including the Super Soul Sunday and the Peace Love World clothing line that came out of The Life You Want Weekend tour.

The store will also feature online learning classes from OWN's O Courses platform.
And the O List section will certainly draw plenty of attention with it's varied sections including food, beauty, jewelry, clothing and even home and garden.
