Yul Edochie, son of veteran Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie, was over the weekend, attacked by armed robbers in Enugu.
He had gone for the shooting of a movie, when he was reportedly attacked at an unidentified hotel in Enugu, where he had lodged.
The actor, on his Instagram page @yuledochie, said the armed robbers attacked him and others at the hotel.
According to him, he was wounded during the robbery operations.
“I really wish it’s a rumour but it’s not. This really happened. I was attacked by armed robbers over the weekend in Enugu while I was relaxing in my hotel premises after the day’s shoot.
“Luckily,” the actor continued, “I escaped but unfortunately I crashed into a glass door as I was running for my dear life and sustained this cut on my ear and a few bruises.”
Yul said the experience wasn’t funny, but he is thankful it didn’t cause more harm.
“I’m back to Lagos to run a full scan to be sure all is well inside. I thank God for His protection,” he added.
