3 Nigerian pilgrims arrested in Saudi Arabia for drug trafficking

Three Nigerian Muslim pilgrims from Kwara state have been arrested in Saudi Arabia for alleged possession of substance suspected to be cocaine. According to the Executive Secretary, Kwara Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Fatima Abolore-Jimoh, the pilgrims were arrested in Madinnah by Saudi Arabia security operatives. She however did not disclose the names of the pilgrims.

Abolore-Jimoh said they were still in the custody of Saudi Arabian authorities and that the country's law would certainly take its course.
