Kogi state governor reportedly attacked by aggrieved residents of the state

The Kogi state governor, Yahaya Bello was reportedly attacked by some aggrieved residents of the state today August 26th. According to multiple sources, the governor who had gone to the Lokoja Central Mosque to observe his Juma'at prayer, was attacked by some aggrieved residents who threw stones, rotten food and fruits at his convoy as it departed the mosque.
 
The residents say they are not happy with the manner in which the state governor is managing the affairs of the state. They say they are groaning in hardship and hunger as most of the civil servants had not been paid their salaries
