Internally Displaced Persons in camps in Maiduguri, Borno state are presently protesting on the streets over lack of food, portable water and medical care. The IDPs claim that they are not been well fed and are constantly left hungry. They have barricaded most of the roads leading into Maiduguri, causing serious traffic gridlock.
